Tueday's excitement

Hey all,
had some excitement today! I wasn't feeling good when I got to work today. My nurses at work took my blood pressure and got concerned because everytime they took it, it climbed higher. So, they called a paramedic to check it out. Paramedics come with ambulances and ambulances travel to hospitals. 3 hours later, I have been sprayed with nitro spray, gave a significant amount of blood, had a chest x-ray and have been diagnosed with acute bronchitis. As soon as Ben gets home from work, he'll take me to get my car in Kilgore and I will get my Rx's. Will keep you posted.

Howard

Well, believe it or not...Jerry S and I went "together" to visit Howard Saturday. We got there at 8:00 and stayed until the Shipp's got there. In the middle ofthe visit, the guys had to go inside because they caught some guy climbing the fence at the big house....can you imagine getting caught trying to get IN? what a bad day...DONT BE THAT GUY.

Howard looked great and laughed alot. It was an emotional morning for me, cause there was a new guy there who is a very very short timer. When he came out to see his mom, a new staff member started to pat him down, (which they don't do at the Camp) and it un did his mom and then him, and then me. So, we went outside and laughed about it to try to forget what a tough situation this is for everyone.

Hope everyone has a great week...one week closer.

Kyle's surgery

All of collective hearts and prayers are with Kyle, Vickie, Steph, and Howard during Kyle's surgery and recovery. This family has endured the trials of Job with the patience only God's love and comfort can bring.

Kyle, get well soon, and come home soon.

Stephanie, we'll have some fun while they are gone.

Vickie, stay strong...you are doin such a great job!

love ya,J

Update: Kyle and I had some fun quality time this a.m. at 4:30. He was wonderin' why I was lookin at him at 4:30 in the morning instead of sleeping!
He did great., and is in such good physical shape that he will really progress quickly.
