A Mother's Prayer
------Celine Dion

A Mother's Prayer

I pray you'll be my eyes
And watch her where she goes
And help her to be wise
Help me to let go

Every mother's prayer
Every child knows
Lead her to a place
Guide her with your grace
To a place where she'll be safe

I pray she finds your light
And holds it in her heart
As darkness falls each night
Remind her where you are

Every mother's prayer
Every child knows
Need to find a place
Guide her with your grace
Give her faith so she'll be safe

Lead her to a place
Guide her with your grace
To a place where she'll be safe

this song reminds me so of mama

CELINE DION LYRICS

"If I Could"

If I could
I'd protect you from the sadness in your eyes
Give you courage in a world of compromise
Yes, I would

If I could
I would teach you all the things I've never learned
And I'd help you cross the bridges that I've burned
Yes, I would

If I could
I would try to shield your innocence from time
But the part of life I gave you isn't mine
I've watched you grow
So I could let you go

If I could
I would help you make it through the hungry years
But I know that I can never cry your tears
But I would
If I could

If I live
In a time and place where you don't want to be
You don't have to walk along this road with me
My yesterday
Won't have to be your way

If I knew
I'd have tried to change the world I brought to you to
And there isn't very much that I can do
But I would
If I could...
Oh baby... mummy wants to protect you
And help my baby through the hungry years
It's part of me
And if you ever... ever need
Sad shoulder to cry on
I'm just someone to talk to
I'll be there... I'll be there
I didn't change your world
But I would
If I Could!

great kids

Today is Deana's last final for this semester. I am so proud of her - she is establishing her life in Nacogdoches! Ben ate with us last night and did an eval on my surgery recovery. Because of some of his tips, I slept the best night last night since before surgery!

Daddy would call this the "Jeff and David" effect. He says that when we were all little, he would look at Jeff and David and see what they were able to do for themselves, and because they were so much older, he thought it would be so good when he and mama finally got to that stage too. Well, history hasn't proven that particular theory too great. Jeff has had more incarceration than free adult life, and David has a great family, in the garden with lots of babies that have no daddies in their lives.

however, the four of us....wow.......LOL....

...this is a little tongue in cheek.......but not really. I love what we have become and what we are striving for...even what we are made of that help us push through the rocky times that are inevitable if we LIVE.

happy holidays.

Yes, Erin,,,now 9 days.

holiday season

Had a wonderful lunch today with vickie and nessa....trying to shop, but Casa Ole was calling our name.

Vickie picked out some kickin carpet and flooring and a couch and a recliner. She's gonna have a cool lookin family room when this is finished. Kyle....keep your nasty toes off the couch so it'll stay nice until next October!!!

Happy Holidays, even if there are only 10 more shopping days left.

Daddy

Katie and daddy just left here. Daddy had a procedure this a.m. to check the size of a hole they have discovered in his 'heart". the good news is that he has one...a hole and a heart. The other good news is that the hole that is there is very small. Katie said they are going to let one other doctor look at it to see if they are going to do anything about it. There is some question about his mitrovalve also, but not sure about that yet either.

Daddy was pretty groggy, apparently they put you to sleep to do whatever they did, which I am not sure what it was. Katie called from my driveway so I could come out and get a bowl of soup she brought.

Sorry I don't have more info, will update if I get any.

What a wonderful way to connect

Hey everyone! This is Anna. (KK's daughter)
How have you all been? I discovered Mom reading this blog, and i just wanted to check in on everyone. The Williams are doing really well. School is almost out for Winter Break. We have exams next week, so i guess tonight is like the calm before the storm (hopefully after the "storm" is over we will have a cold front).
A couple of Sundays ago we set up our Christmas decor, and of course i am trying to usher in Christmas spirit.

Well, i need to get ready for school tomorrow. If you guys are interested, i have a myspace ( :) ) and if you want here is this link: www.myspace.com/helloanna

I hope to see you all soon. We are looking forward to the Cox family coming (yay!). Hmm... Maybe you all should make your own pilgrimages as well, we certainly would love it!

I hope you guys have a good week.

Love and hugs,
Anna Renee
